SOHO Solutions didn’t begin with a business plan. It came from years of seeing things not done right and deciding to do better.
Our founder, Tom Witt, came from a background in accounting before moving into a controller role at a small business. Part of that job involved hiring IT consultants but too often, they fell short. Some lacked the right skills, others didn’t follow through, and many left before the work was done.
Tom started stepping in, filling the gaps, solving the problems, and learning the systems himself. The more involved he got, the more he realized this was the kind of work he wanted to focus on. Before long, clients were coming directly to him for help, and the demand kept growing.
That shift became SOHO Solutions. Not as a break-fix vendor, but as a long-term partner invested in helping businesses run smarter, faster, and more confidently.
